Graphic Bugs

Below are graphic bugs with a weekly message to print in your publication, or to place on your website hyperlinked. Please change the bug weekly to convey the gravity of each impending deadline:

September 2 thru September 7 Volunteer as a Pollworker
Counties still need people to volunteer to serve as pollworkers, especially people who are multilingual.
September 8 thru September 14 Registered to Vote?
If you are not already registered at your current address, then you need to re-register in order to be able to cast a ballot for the Special Election.
September 15 thru September 21 Last Chance to Register
In order to participate in the special election you must be registered. The deadline to register to vote is September 22nd.
September 22 thru September 28 Vote Early - Vote Absentee
Voters often find it easier and more convenient to vote by mail. The deadline to apply through the mail for an absentee ballot is September 30th.
September 29 thru October 5 Check your Sample Ballot
The Sample Ballot each voter receives from their county election official will provide a copy of the ballot order, information on their county's voting system, an application to vote absentee, and the location of their polling place on the back cover. Voters should review their Sample Ballot and bring it with them to the polls, in order to make it easier to vote.
October 6 and October 7 Where do I vote?
To determine your polling place location, either look on the back of your sample ballot, call your local election office, or call our toll free hotline: 1-800-345-VOTE for English speakers, or one of our multilingual hotlines for those who speak other languages.
